About
I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist having achieved my Diploma from The London College of
Clinical Hypnosis and am a member of The British Society of Cinical Hypnosis.
The London College is the largest school of Clinical Hypnosis in the UK . Training is accredited
by the UK University System and by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
The BSCH aim is to promote and assure high standards in the profession, membership demands strict
standards of training and ongoing training, supervision, ethical practice and professional indemnity
insurance.
My background is in training and personal development which began 25yrs ago while managing my own
Model and Promotions Agency in Sheffield. I have studied the human mind in depth all my adult life
and continue to do so on a daily basis, always fascinated by our ability to believe steadfastly in
our own opinions of ourselves, others and the world around us. In fact, it is that very strength and
the tenacity of those beliefs that help us to construct our particular and very personal view of the
type of person we percieve our "self" to be. This "locks us in" to being a certain way, certain of
course that change would be difficult and not likley to be very long lasting. And so we accept our
limitations, year in and year out, depriving ourselves of the life we would love "if only we were
different".
I have studied many different philosophies over the years and have come to understand that the only
philosophy worth your investment is your own. That is why I use hypnotherapy, as I believe it to be
the most dynamic and powerful way to help people make the needed change to "their thinking" all day,
everyday.
I am commited to helping people change their beliefs about what is possible for themselves, not
because change is hard and they need help, but because beliefs, not thoughts are man-made and
therefore subject to whatever we decide they should be subject to. What do you think?
